“中国好人”薛金珉赠书庆“七一”

为庆祝“七一”建党节的到来，6月28日，在砀山县委宣传部会议室里，“中国好人”、砀山县离休干部薛金珉向宣传部赠送自己写作的回忆录《薛金珉见证》。
据县委宣传部副部长魏志玉介绍，今年83岁的薛金珉老人退休后没有选择悠闲的晚年生活，而是积极投身公益事业，发挥余热。他组织开展健康教育、执着普法、志愿消防宣传等多项公益活动，受健康教育群众达200多万人次，多次受到国家卫生部、公安部、安徽省委的表彰。2014年11月，薛金珉被中央组织部评为“全国离退休干部先进个人”。2016年2月，薛金珉被中央宣传部、中央文明办评为全国“最美志愿者”。2016年6月，薛金珉获评“中国好人”。
为把砀山卫生事业发展的珍贵资料保存下来，薛金珉在古稀之年时花费10年时间，写成22万字的《薛金珉见证》一书，回顾了从事医疗预防、卫生宣传、健康促进与教育工作和志愿服务63 年的亲身经历，诠释了一个有50多年党龄的老共产党员对砀山健康医疗卫生事业的突出贡献。薛金珉高兴地说：“今天，我把宣传砀山卫生事业伟大成就的书籍送给县委宣传部，和大家共勉，不忘初心，奋然前行，为砀山县的宣传和卫生事业多做贡献，以实际行动向‘七一’建党节献礼！”
“从薛老的先进事迹中，我深刻感受到一位老党员对党的热爱和忠诚，对钟爱事业的坚定和执着，他是新时期的优秀党员。我一定以薛老为标杆，学习他爱岗敬业、忠诚奉献的高尚情操，干好本职工作，努力做一位合格党员。”看着内容丰富的书籍，砀山县委宣传部年轻党员陈静发自肺腑地说。（砀山新闻网 李艳龙）
